Ah, the big boss, the head honcho, the commander-in-chief of the betting shop brief… as a Shop Manager within Paddy Power you will be in charge of the daily running of shop operations, using your proven retail abilities to run a tight ship whilst ensuring that your team are focused on meeting our customers’ needs. You will manage all paperwork and administration, office, and shop supplies, and provide a shop environment that is clean, safe, and welcoming – but only to customers 18 years and over.
You’re the rock upon whom the Shop Manager relies. You’ll work together to ensure the smooth running of the shop and that your team have the right tools and knowledge to do their job: creating an entertaining environment for our customers.
You are the ambassador of the business, the face of Paddy Power… and you work hard to ensure that customers’ needs are met every day, creating a safe and fun atmosphere for everyone. You should have a passion for sports, entertainment and gaming, or at the very least a passion to learn about them! You will take bets, pay out winnings and advise and guide customers on any queries or questions they might have. You should ideally have good mathematical skills and the ability to work with pace and accuracy whilst being personable, professional and, most of all, a good laugh…
