Customer Support Specialist (English/Spanish Speaking)

 

Paddy Power loves his customers.  He wants to smother them in love.  We need people who can talk sense, write well, love and er, smother people. 

 

We spend a lot of time and money promoting our brand and tweaking our website to make sure our customers have a great gaming experience. No website, even one designed by the geniuses in Paddy Power is perfect, and every now and then our customers have to actually talk to us.  If we get that contact wrong and dont meet our customers expectations, the fancy schmancy website is wasted. 

 

We therefore put a high value on providing great customer service on those (not as rare as we'd like em) occasions when our customers need to contact us.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with our English and Spanish speaking customers by phone and email
  • Help our customers to enjoy betting with Paddy Powers online sites
  • Empathise with our customers

Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months experience working in a customer service environment in both English and Spanish
  • Knock our socks off with your great desire to WOW our customers

Essential Competencies:

  • Good PC skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish 
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge of, or an interest in sports is a bonus but its not essential.

Working Hours and Conditions:

 

Candidates will be required to be available between the hours of 7.00am and 12.00pm for an 8 hour shift.

Rotas are compiled on a rotation basis so hours of work are known well in advance.
