Bookmaking is a numbers game and no more so than in Paddy Power’s Finance department. There are currently over 30 people employed in the department and represent a mix of experienced qualified accountants, newly qualifieds, trainee accountants and clerical staff. We are based in Airton House in Tallaght and provide a central service to the Group as a whole from Head Office.
Finance’s mission is to provide accurate, timely and relevant financial information to internal and external stakeholders. The function encompasses financial accounting and reporting, financial planning, taxation, projects and the provision of decision support to the business.
Paddy Power’s Finance team has been growing and changing with the business and, with this growth, there will be opportunities for you to develop your own career. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated people with a “can do” attitude and a customer service ethos – and obviously a good head for numbers! And it doesn’t matter if you haven’t been inside a bookies shop before, we’ll explain the business to you. On the job training is provided and staff development is encouraged and facilitated.
