Dial-A-Bet started taking telephone bets in 1996. A team of approx 150 operators take nearly 4 million bets per year, generating more than €300m in turnover from Horse Racing (70%), Soccer (15%) and other sports (15%). Roughly half of Dial A Bets turnover comes from the UK.
Telephone betting is the fastest way to bet, with well over 90% of calls answered within 10 seconds, faster than the London Ambulance Service. Most calls last between 45 and 75 seconds. Online customers can use their accounts to bet on the phone when they’re away from their PCs.
